Follow the highway east out of town to the river, then head south.
Description:
Once long ago a great tower stood on an island in a muddy moor. Over time the tower was abandoned for reasons unknown and the area grew wet and humid. Now little remains of the once proud outpost. Day by day, nearby lizardfolk watch in wonder as a once magnificent structure returns to the mud from which it was born.

XP Information

This zone has some mobs that are good for experience at lower levels. There are quite a few different mobs in the area, but the ones that yield the easiest experience are the mud men and lizardmen.

Mud Men

Follow the river south of Krimsbane's Highway and take the second west. There is a lake there populated by mud men. They group up, so there are usually rooms that have a large number of mud men and rooms that have none.

Lizardmen

Follow the river south of Krimsbane's Highway and take the first east. There are some lizardmen wandering around the marsh, as well as a lair full of them behind a hidden exit. Also in the furthest part of the lair are two mobs who hold some equipment.

This zone holds some equipment that is decent for lower-level characters.

Crumbling Tower

A hidden up exit inside the tower in the middle of the lake (where the Mud Men are) leads to a very small equipment run. You will need to have pick lock and forcedoor trained to make your way up to the top. There is one statue you will need to kill for a key, and beware of deathtraps. The mob with the equipment, Yough, will be at the very top of the tower. He has Cloak of Flames and casts, and is in a room with some aggro blocking mobs. Generally the longer the uptime, the more of those aggro mobs are in the room with Yough, so if the game has been up quite a while, you may not have the easiest time killing him. He loads some decent low-level boots and legs.

Misc

There is a sharpened turtle shell on one of the turtles on the way to the lake, which is an easily obtainable shield for low-level characters.
